About Singapore Going to Melbourne Again!- dudunginside.blogspot.com

This June I went to Australia Sydney and Melbourne with my youngest brother with a tour agency. We went to Great Ocean Road, Victoria market and Philips island to see cute penguins. We did not spend much time touring the city. Thus this November, I decided to venture to Melbourne again to explore art museum, library, cafe and park.

This time I be traveling solo in late November to early December. Fortunately there is longer day time as the sunset is around 8.20pm so I don't feel so scare. Actually there is another reason why I'm going to Melbourne. I plan to study in Melbourne next year for half a year. So its also a good time for me to check if the place is safe and friendly to foreigners or not. Initially I didn't really want to go. But alas, I didn't realise the hotel booking fees is charged to my credit card. I thought they only charge when I arrive. Since I already made payment, I might as well go there and enjoy myself. This time I be staying in a hotel at Elizabeth street as its cheaper than Southbank. I hope to find great cafe serving delicious breakfast and coffee.

Luckily we queued on a Monday afternoon. My cousin told me some people queued for up to 2 hours for this egg tarts.
Yummy yummy egg tarts. I love it!
Besides egg tarts, you can also buy chicken pie, cocktail bun, sponge cup cake and char siew bolo bun.

About Singapore Cooking Laksa for my Father- dudunginside.blogspot.com

As shared previously, I don't really cook except for instant noodle for myself. Recently I cooked laksa for my father.Hmm, ok I didn't really prepare everything. Hehe, I just cooked the rice noodle and heat up the laksa sauce prepared by my mum and placed the cooked prawns and egg. A bowl of delicious laksa is ready!

About Singapore What Are Singaporeans Queuing For? Bake Cheese Tart- dudunginside.blogspot.com

Yesterday I celebrated my cousin's birthday in advance. I treated her to a sumptuous steamboat lunch at Hai Di Lao where we enjoyed complimentary manicure in the evening (will update this in my blog soon). While waiting for manicure service, we went to Ion Orchard shopping mall to buy Singapore most popular Bake cheese tarts. Luckily we went there on a weekday thus waiting time is shorter. Some people queued up to an hour just to buy the cheese tarts but we took about 20 minutes.

Well I must say the bake cheese tarts did not disappoint us. To me time is money and I don't really like to waste time queuing up for food. I brought 7 cheese tarts to share with my family who really enjoyed it. But at $3.50 per tarts, it is quite expensive. Half a dozen costs $19.50 though.

Where? Ion Orchard (nearest MRT: Orchard MRT)
Yummy bake cheese tart with buttery crust and creamy cheese
Crispy buttery crust with solid creamy cheese from Hokkaido.

Really beautiful bake cheese tarts hor?
I like the packaging as its yellow! One of my favourite colour besides pink.

About Singapore Yummy Vegetarian Food at Sufood!- dudunginside.blogspot.com

This week Sufood has finally revamped its menu. Instead of 8 course set lunch or dinner, now its reduced to 7 course at $29.80. There is no more Rainbow fruit salad but in a way I'm glad to  try Macadamia Fruit salad which is really delicious with many nutritious fruits and nuts like avocado, pomelo, macadamia nuts. Yummy yummy :). Sometimes only when there is a change, then you'll be forced to get something even better. If there is no change, I will just order Rainbow salad as usual so I'm glad Macadamia Fruit salad is included in the new revamp menu. Macadamia Fruit salad is definitely more delicious than Rainbow fruit salad!

Another good news, if you have OCBC credit card, you can enjoy 10% discount. Yeah, as a "loyal" customer, I finally get to save money as I always have my lunch or dinner every on every Friday or Saturday after praying at Waterloo street Kuan Yin temple.

Click the link here for Sufood Menu.

Sufood Singapore at Raffles City Shopping Mall
Nearest MRT: City Hall MRT and Esplanade MRT
Strawberry Snowflake salad is surprisingly tasty with crunchy shredded yam, with Italian baby spinach and feta cheese. I love it!
I also love Macadamia fruit salad filled with avocado, macadamia nuts, pineapple, peach and sweet potatoes!
The Comfy is a mixture of pear and yucca roots which improves immunity and digestion! This combination is really good.
Pumpkin soup. Hmm taste is bland. I recommend creamy Black bean soup instead.
Another must order dish! This Zesty Oyster Mushroom Stone Pot Rice is really delicious. Normally I don't order rice outside but my young cousin ordered this. I thought I would stop at 1 spoonful, but no. It was so delicious that I took ate some more.
This is mushroom which comes with Zesty Oyster Mushroom Stone Pot Rice.
We loved Cheesy Mushroom Wrap too!
Star pizza is Sufood signature dish! I simply love cheesy mushroom pizza!
Rosso e Giallo is a combination of red bean cake and silky beancurd pudding.
Vanilla ice-cream with chocolate cake is not recommended. The cake is too sweet and ice-cream is not silky smooth.
Rosemary breadstick with sweet mustard sauce and cider. Now there is no more trio appetizer.
This amazing Macadamia Fruit salad comes with macadamia nuts, avocados, sweet potatoes, peach, pomelo, cherry tomatoes and vegetables topped with pineapple flavoured vinaigrette dressing.

Creamy Potato Black Bean Soup. I must say this is more delicious than pumpkin soup.
I love the Comfy fruit juice which is the combination of pear and yucca roots. Really refreshingly delightful!
This is Sufood new dish. White Ferula Pesto Pasta is surprisingly tasty. It comes with fresh basil pesto sauce and White Ferula mushrooms and broccoli underneath the pasta. A really healthy dish!
This is mango dessert. They will no longer serve this dessert as they replace it with banana cheesecake.

About Singapore Melbourne City- dudunginside.blogspot.com

This June, I went to Melbourne with my youngest brother and we had a great time there. But going with tour group, we had mostly Chinese food at Chinese restaurants. We only had 3 days in Melbourne and 3 days in Sydney. I prefer Melbourne as there are lots of greenery and gardens and I love nature! Melbourne is also well-known for their arts and coffee and I love both!

About Singapore Vegetarian Food at Sufood- dudunginside.blogspot.com

I really like Sufood vegetarian food, so I went back to try other dishes. After trying 3 of their main courses, I still prefer their signature star pizza which is a crispy cheesy mushroom pizza.

I wonder if they have membership card. Now I have vegetarian food almost every week. Just hope they start membership card for loyal diners like me so I can enjoy more discounts and save more money.
This is part of the 8 course meal. Dip the warm bread on either mustard or blueberry sauce.
 I chose pumpkin soup again.
 Orange and pineapple juice.
Porcini pasta with pepper and jalapeo sauce.

Wild Mushroom Charcoal Tagliatelle with King oyster mushroom.

This is surprisingly good with rich garlic flavour!

Rosso e Giallo comprises a red bean cake which is not sweet with sily beancurd pudding. If you want it sweet, just add the sweet syrup.
