About Singapore Rise in Zika Cases in Singapore- dudunginside.blogspot.com

Tags
I never expect a spike in zika cases in Singapore. Till date, Singapore now has 56 people with zika virus. For now, I'll avoid Aljunied Crescent and Sims Drive are as many zika cases are diagnosed from these two places. Though they stated it's locally transmitted disease, I suspect it started when a man who returned from overseas was first infected with Zika virus. Perhaps they should never organise Olympics in Brazil. I reckon there be a spike in zika virus spread around the world soon.

About Singapore Delicious & Value for Money Vegetarian Food at Sufood- dudunginside.blogspot.com

I plan to eat vegetarian food maybe in a few years time. Partly because I'm a Buddhist. Sometimes when I eat meat, I feel kinda guilty. If there is a restaurant that serves delicious vegetarian food, frankly speaking, I don't mind staying away from meat forever. I'm glad to finally find a restaurant that serves delicious vegetarian food! My cousin recommended this restaurant Sufood at Raffles City shopping mall. So today, I went alone to try their 8-course vegetarian food that includes Italian and even Chinese style soup.

Sufood is a popular vegetarian restaurant in Taiwan, started in 2010. They launched their first restaurant in Singapore Raffles City shopping mall in 2014. The second branch is now available at Wheelock place. Indeed, I really enjoyed a wide variety of delicious 8-course vegetarian food today at an affordable price of $29.80. Of course, after including 10% service charge and 7% GST fees, the total cost is $35.05. Basically, everyone is served the same appetizer and rosemary breadsticks. But you can choose your main course from pasta, pizza, baked macaroni and even rice, soup from pumpkin to Chinese style soup like lotus soup. With their wide variety of main courses, soups, desserts, salads and even drinks, I will return to Sufood again.

Where? Sufood restaurant at Raffles City Shopping mall #02-19
Nearest MRT: CityHall MRT

Inside the Sufood Restaurant, a popular vegetarian restaurant in Taiwan.
I was served this pretty appetizer first with yuca root with blueberry coulis, a small lady's finger with alfalfa and sweet tomato jelly. The waitress recommended me to start eating from yuca root first then lastly to jelly. After which, I can drink their healthy vinegar drink which aids in digestion.
Normally I don't eat ladyfinger as I find it sticky. But I like this lady's finger.
I like this sweet vinegar drink which is said to help in digestion, weight loss and lower blood pressure.
I like these warm rosemary-infused breadsticks that comes with sweet mustard dip. Felt quite full after eating these two breadsticks.
I chose pineapple and orange juice!
There are 6 different types of salads you can choose from like garden salad, mushroom salad. I chose Rainbow fruit salad that comes with watermelon, jambu, pineapple, almond flakes, vegetable with passion fruit yogurt. I really love this salad so on next visit, I probably order this again.

They offer different types of soup like pumpkin, root soup, cabbage and potato stew soup. I chose creamy pumpkin soup.
I chose their signature Star Pizza over pasta. This Star pizza is awesome! It is crispy hot filled with creamy cheese, seaweed and mushroom. Yummy yummy!

You can dip the pizza to their wasabi sauce.
It is filled with cheese at the edge of pizza.
Finally for dessert, I chose their recommended mango frollino that comes with mango cubes and custard sauce.
Sufood Restaurant is located at #02-19 at Raffles City Shopping mall.

About Singapore Hazy Weather in Singapore - dudunginside.blogspot.com

For the past few years, Singaporeans have been suffering from hazy weather as our inconsiderate neighboring country Indonesia burn their forest.

Just hope the wind direction will shift back to Indonesia and their capital Jakata. They need to pay a price for it for burning the helpless animals in the forest.

About Singapore Good News for Singaporean Singles!- dudunginside.blogspot.com

If you are Singaporean and still single, you probably receive $100.00 credit from Social Development Network (SDN) to spend on any dating events that you can sign up for at SDN website. For the past few years, SDN had been crediting $100.00 but I did not make full use of it so it actually expired.

I have never date before though I'm in my 30s. This time I must make full use of the $100.00 credit to sign up for one of the dating events. Most probably I go for dinner date where I can enjoy free food. Even if I can't find my life partner, its also fine with  me as long as I am happy being alone with myself.

Actually at my age, I have no desire to have children. I find children very noisy and I just love my freedom too much to be tied down by kids. I can travel whenever I feel like it and read whenever I feel like it. So actually single life is also good but my mum always say its good to have companion. Actually at this stage, my main goal is to have as much money as possible and depend on myself. When I was young, I wanted to get married at 28 years old but I didn't find the special someone. So now I focus on earning and saving money so I can travel around the world and enjoy early retirement.

About Singapore Thai Food at Tampines - dudunginside.blogspot.com

My buddy colleague recently recommended a good Thai restaurant where we live. It serves affordable Thai food in the resident  area. Each main dish costs less than $10.00. We both shared the delicious pad thai. Normally when I'm eating alone, I will not choose Thai food as its too spicy for me. I still prefer Chinese and Italian/French food.
 Really delicious pad thai.
I had the seafood Tom yum kway teow. Really spicy.

My buddy had the minced pork rice.
 We had the lemongrass drink.

About Singapore Fun at Travel Revolution 2016- dudunginside.blogspot.com

Yesterday after work, I headed to Marina Bay Sands for the Travel Revolution fair to check up on travel deals and just to collect free travel guide books which are distributed for free. Trust me, some of the travel guide books especially those from Macau, South Korea, Melbourne and Taiwan are so good that you can save your money and not spend a cent on those lonely planet travel guide books. Those travel guide books offer the the country or city map, train map and other informative guides. So sometimes I don't understand why some people go to bookshop to buy country maps when you can get it for free from travel fair. Some people might say I'm penny-pinching, but my philosophy in life is why spend more when you can save more.

Besides collecting travel guide books on countries I plan to visit, there are also free food! I had Macau dessert, Serradura or sawdust pudding. Taiwan booth also served visitors free Taiwanese dessert. Singapore major travel agencies like CTC and Chan Brothers are also offering package tours in this 3days travel fair and they offer free gifts and discounts if you sign up with them. For me, I might travel solo to Taiwan or Australia again, so I went to collect travel map and guide books. For Taiwan I already travelled 5 times already but I like Taiwanese food and National Palace Museum so I might travel again.

The travel fair end tomorrow.
Where: Marina Bay Sands. Alight at Bayfront MRT station
Date: 19 Aug to 21 Aug 2016
At Singapore Airlines booth, my favourite airline.
Singapore major travel agencies also set up booth offering attractive package tours.

I had free Serradura, a Macau dessert at the Macau booth.

About Singapore Not Feeling Well Today- dudunginside.blogspot.com

Today I'm under the weather. Yesterday night I was vomiting and had diarrhoea. Made me wonder if it's the crab dumpling I had in the last 2 weekends. My teacher had said crab can give you stomachache. Think this week I won't eat crab dumplings. :(

About Singapore MAYDAY??? [ ????Party Animal ] - dudunginside.blogspot.com

Tags
I really like their Mayday latest album released this July. So far I purchased 2 songs from itunes. Maybe I buy their latest album instead. In Singapore its sad to say its really rare to find a CD shop. In the past, we had Tower Records and HMV but now they are out of Singapore due to high rental cost and not many people want to buy album. For me I prefer to buy album if there are many good songs and I like the singer.

About Singapore Singapore Gardens Festival 2016: Benny's Sunflower Farm- dudunginside.blogspot.com

On the last weekend of July, I saw this yellow sea of sunflowers during Singapore Gardens Festival at Gardens by the Bay. Now when I look at the photo, I feel like drinking chrysanthemum tea. Maybe its the last day of the event so the sunflowers didn't look very fresh. Hmm, next time must visit early.

About Singapore Celebrating National Day at Home- dudunginside.blogspot.com

As usual, my family and I celebrate National Day at home. Today I ordered KFC umani chicken, cheese fries and coleslaw at home so that we can eat and watch National Day Parade show at home. My brother fried noodles and bee hoon for dinner.

I've been applying for NDP tickets for the past 10 years but rarely get the NDP tickets. In the past, we would just queue up at Tampines stadium early for the NDP tickets. Now with balloting, I rarely get the NDP tickets. I'm beginning to think I have less affinity with Singapore. Anyway next year, I might be going overseas for postgraduate education and won't be in Singapore to celebrate NDP at this period of time.

Happy birthday Singapore!

 KFC unami chickens.
Soggy and soft fries. Not good.
 Watching NDP at home.
